It’s about time!

Barry Bonds, baseball’s home run steroid king, was indicted for perjury and obstruction of justice. According to the indictment, Bonds denied taking steroids when prosecutors showed him the results of a test from November 2000 that showed a “Barry B” testing positive for two types of steroids.

In the end, there is no way the Fed would charge Bonds without having an open and shut case. Although some are saying this is a sad day for baseball, I actually feel it’s cathartic and will enable MLB to put in end to the steriod era.

Bonds Baseball to Be Branded with *

The ball Barry Bonds hit for his record-breaking 756th home run will be branded with an asterisk and sent to the Baseball Hall of Fame by Marc Ecko the fashion designer who purchased it for $750,000.

Ecko did the right thing while receiving an immeasurable amount of pr. Very clever!

“Effectively, Notre Dame is now a third-tier team, Stanford with a national television contract.”

nd-mich.jpg

Ouch … The New York Times sumed it up today with their article Two Proud Programs and Coaches Are at a Loss . Who wins? For the first time since I started watching ND football, I don’t really care.

I guess I can always fall back on my alma mater, Go Stanford!
