It’s about time!

November 16, 2007

Barry Bonds, baseball’s home run steroid king, was indicted for perjury and obstruction of justice. According to the indictment, Bonds denied taking steroids when prosecutors showed him the results of a test from November 2000 that showed a “Barry B” testing positive for two types of steroids.

In the end, there is no way the Fed would charge Bonds without having an open and shut case. Although some are saying this is a sad day for baseball, I actually feel it’s cathartic and will enable MLB to put in end to the steriod era.
