Kiffen: An Idiot and a Jerk
The sports reporter at AJC sure didn’t pull any punches. Mark Bradley writes “There are lots of odious folks in big-time sports, but Southern Cal just tethered the skunk of all skunks. I cannot imagine anyone entrustring a program to Lane Kiffin. And, once he wrecks Southern Cal, nobody else ever will.”

Clearance sale
To thank USC supporters, Pete Carroll is leaving more than impending sanctions and complete chaos. The Poodle is having a 50% sale on all SC gear @ PeteCarroll.com
What a great guy!

Sanchez best performance comes before the game!
When asked about Pete Carroll leaving USC for the Seattle Seahawks gave Sanchez the perfect response. “I just wanted everybody to know I completely disagree with his decision,” Sanchez said. “Statistics show that it’s not a good choice.”
Like the players at USC the Seahawks players get paid, but now everyone else does as well. Good luck!

My Retailer Grades for Xmas 2009
Given my horrible experience with Dell, I thought I would go ahead and grade each retailer using the following criteria: (Website – Ease of Use & Information, Packaging, Delivery, Pricing, and Customer Service).
Amazon – A + (simply the best)
Lenovo – A (site needs a little work)
Dell – F (nothing more needs to be said)
Adidas – B (adequate)
Gilt – C (great site, great pricing, but limited customer support)
Uniqlo – NA (The kids love the store, but they don’t offer an ecommerce enabled site.)
TopShop – NA (same as above)
more grades to follow …

DELL is horrible!
One hour and counting and I still haven’t been able to cancel my order (Flip camcorder) through Dell. Adding insult to injury, it was Dell that messed up the original order. I paid for express shipping, so I could receive the item on 12/13. Receiving it on 1/8/2010 doesn’t do me any good. Happy Holidays … I won’t be surprised when your stock price hits 8.37 again.
Note: You can follow the saga on my Twitter account. 1 hr 15 min and counting …
Alas, the saga has ended and it only took 1 hr 58 minutes. I must admit the last rep was very helpful.

Great Customer Service – Lenovo
After countless hours of research, I ordered a new laptop (yes, I am giving up on macs- another post) from Lenovo. I customized the laptop and before I hit “buy” I was compelled to call customer service. Regardless to say, I had the single best customer service experience I have had in years. Job well done!
